Software Sky Explorer


Most of KONUS telescope include a free copy of the Windows based software “Sky Explorer”, which is a special version of the well-known planetarium software Perseus. This software will soon become a perfect companion while observing.
You can use it as an atlas – with endless information available - to plan your activities in the field, or you can use it to predict or construct the sky as it was (or will be) from any place on Earth, in any time. You can simulate famous eclipses, search for occultation’s, and much more. Have fun and add another dimension to your observations with “Sky Explorer"
WHAT CAN THE “SKY-EXPLORER” SOFTWARE DO?
Predicts or recreates the appearance of the sky and the position of the astronomical objects in any time period, past, present or future. Identifies with extreme precision the astronomical objects that can be seen from the location of the observer. Lets you know you in advance which astronomical objects will be visible on a certain date in every place all around the world. Every astronomical object is represented in 3 dimensions with the most5 realistic graphics, way better than any competing software in the market. The software comes with a database featuring hundreds of thousands of astronomical objects. Every astronomical simulation is done with the most accurate computation accuracy, thus making this software the most advanced in the market. The software is in English language, with operational instructions in English, Italian and Spanish.

Vectorial graphic engine. Solar system with 3D realism, represented with correct shadows Astonishing graphics, for a perfect realism.
