Focusing a telescope by
hand can cause the image to shake or even move completely out of the field
of view, especially at high magnifications. But with the AccuFocus
electronic focuser, those annoyances are a thing of the past. Using the
pushbutton hand controller you get smooth, precise focusing, without
vibration. Choose any speed from coarse to very fine. The DC motor installs
easily and works with many Orion telescopes. It's powered by one 9-volt
battery (included) in the hand controller. Bracket, hardware, and coil cable
are also included.

Speed up the cooling of your big reflector's optics to
ambient temperature with this small, quiet fan. It
attaches to pretapped and threaded holes in the mirror
cells of
Orion SkyQuest XT8
and
XT10 Dobsonians.
Mounting screws are supplied. Runs on 12 volts DC power
supplied by the included battery pack, which uses eight
D-cell batteries (not included).
You can run the fan prior to observing, then turn it off,
or you can even keep it running while observing; there is
no noticeable vibration. Battery life is about 13-14 hours
of continuous operation. Also compatible with 12-volt
field battery with our #5613 DC power cable.

The optical tube rides on our state-of-the-art Dobsonian base, equipped with
springless CorrecTension friction control for smooth movement and
always-perfect tube balance.
This telescope comes complete with a 1.25" rack-and-pinion focuser, two
Sirius Plossl eyepieces, finder scope, eyepiece rack, "nav" knob, carrying
