CE Mark is a product certification or product marking. (As compared to ISO which is a company system certification). CE Mark is based on safety demonstration of the product via documents, test reports, technical file, on site visit, audit etc. It reiterates that the product is safe for human beings and will not harm them in any form.

CE stands for "Conformite Europeenne" or conforming to Europe. Getting this certificate should mean a world to your products. CE Mark is mandatory for many products to access the European Union, the worlds largest market. CE Mark has also become a major requirement for buyers in Asia, Africa and parts of USA and Canada. Many government/ private tenders across the world ask for CE Mark as a must for participating in the tender bids and gives competitive advantage in other cases.
