This Advance Equatorial Mount provides the precision and stability needed for serious observing .Features 360 degree worm-gear tracking controls, large manual slow-motion tracking knob on R.A. and DEC. Lock bolts, dual metal setting circle dials, a latitude adjustment with micrometer scale, and altazimuth polar-alignment adjuster, and a built-in holder for polar scope, and a bubble level for balancing the tripod / Pier Stand. It can be fitted with dual axis motor drives for auto-tracking
The ADVANCE EQUATORIAL MOUNT are designed essentially for a long-exposure astrophotography. They precisely control the telescope’s tracking speed to compensate for the earth's rotation during long exposures of celestial objects. Available in 2x, 4X and 8X speeds through the Hand Pad Controller. These DC motor drives run on 4 "D" cell batteries (not included). Motors for both axis, clutches, cables hand controller, and battery case are included
