This Standard Equatorial Mount is built with a large mount head for greater stability and tracking precision. It features 360 degree slow-motion tracking gears on both axis. The convenient dual setting circles allow observers to locate the objects by setting R.A. and DEC. coordinates. The heavy STANDARD EQ. MOUNT is supported on a Pier Stand.
The STANDARD EQUATORIAL MOUNT can be fitted with a Single Axis with Hand Pad Control The (R.A.) DC motor drives are powered by 4 "D" cell batteries (not included). A set of batteries will allow several nights of observing. 2X and 8X tracking speed with Motor hand controller, and battery case are included
