Each accessory, is a part of an integrated system, attaches easily and directly to the instruments described. Once you have a STANDARD STARTRACKER SYSTEM Telescope you can update your telescope with optical system accessories later as and when the need arises. This means your investment is well protected and your telescope will never be outdated. STARSCOPE Telescope accessories and parts can be used on a wide variety of special purpose / home - made telescope or optical system. STARSCOPE parts have been used in the constructions of thousands of privately built telescopes.

    TERRESTRIAL IMAGE ERECTOR - straight viewing
    Allow straight - through viewing through refractors and schmidt cassegrains and yield right - side - up, non reversed images. PORRO PRISM erector are ideal for terrestrial viewing. The prism are made of fine quality optical glass (will not work with Newtonian reflectors).

    Perfect for both astronomical and terrestrial observation. These fully coated diagonal offers correctly oriented images with excellent sharpness and contrast These diagonals are convenient when a 45° eyepiece angle is desired. A 90° Erect image diagonals available for those who prefer that angle.
    Note : All Erecting Prisms are threaded for photo-visual colour filters.

    STAR DIAGONAL
    This precision 90° star diagonals feature fully coated mirror, delivering superior image fidelity. It lets you view objects that are at a 90 degree angle from the direction the telescope is pointing, thereby allowing comfortable viewing when the telescope is pointed at, or near, the Zenith (i.e. directly overhead). The resulting image is right side up but will be reversed from left to right. Housings are black - ABS plastic with thumb screw the eyepiece in place.

    FINDER TELESCOPES . . . .
    A finder telescope is a small, low power spotting scope that rides piggy - back on the main telescope's tube. The finder's wide field of view shows a much larger area of the sky, making it easier to locate and centering faint objects in the main telescope once colliminated. Large aperture finder telescope can help you find fainter objects that may be invisible in a smaller finder.

    Makes pointing your telescope almost as easy as pointing your fingers in the sky.

    Aiming the telescope to the right spot in the sky can be pretty challenging. A typical finder scope provides 7X magnification and inverted (upside-down) image.
    TRACKING with the RED DOT FINDER is completely different type of finder scope that makes finding objects and star-hopping at ease. You keep both eyes open and see the sky without magnification, without image reversal. Re-Dot finder superimposes a tiny night-vision red dot, focused at the infinity, on the sky. The dot shows exactly where your telescope is pointed, and is centered in a wider field of view.
    Red dot is powered by a tiny 3-volt Lithium battery which illuminates a power efficient red light emetting diode (LED).
    LIGHT ADJUSTMENT: brightness control allows you to set the intensity of the red dot exactly to your liking - dimmer for dark sky viewing, brighter for city skies, or depending upon the celestial object you prefer to view and aim.
    MICROMETER ALTITUDE AND AZIMUTH ADJUSTMENTS allows precise collimination with any telescope.

    This 6x30 achromatic finderscope is a good choice for any telescope, both astronomical and terrestrial. Anti-reflection fully coated optics provide sharp images across the entire field. It features a diecast mounting bracket with spring loading for easy alignment.

Dual knurled focus knobs turns easily, ensures precise focusing, no back lash and has a 70mm focus travel. Fits on Newtonian reflectors for tube diameter 110mm, 140mm, 180, 200mm, 225 and 250mm at ease (Specify tube diameter at the time of ordering). It also makes a fine upgrade for an older STARTRACKER SYSTEM telescope. A worthy component for a home-built reflector / refractor too.
